Tuition Fee Waiver
Any instructor who teaches at least 3 credit hours in an academic year qualifies for a 3-credit hour fee waiver.
You must apply for the fee waiver during the current semester/term. Late fee waivers request received after the current semester/term will not be processed.
The fee waiver may only be used to cover fees associated with additional courses that are needed to meet Mo State requirements for teaching dual credit. Mo State will work with your school to provide the waiver.
Dual Credit Teacher Fee Waiver Process Update (Effective Fall 2026)
Beginning Fall 2026, the Dual Credit teacher fee waiver process has been updated.
Teachers planning to take graduate coursework to meet Missouri State University's faculty qualification requirements for teaching Dual Credit courses must receive pre-approval from their Missouri State academic department liaison before a fee waiver can be applied to their account.
To request pre-approval, please email JaimeRoss@MissouriState.edu with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your Missouri State M#
- The graduate course(s) you plan to take (course prefix, number, and title)
- A brief explanation of how the course(s) support your Dual Credit teaching qualification requirements
Once your request is received, it will be forwarded to the appropriate academic department liaison for review. You will be notified once a decision has been made regarding your fee waiver eligibility.
Please note: Fee waivers are only available for coursework that has been approved as meeting Missouri State's faculty qualification requirements for Dual Credit instruction.
