Request to teach dual credit
Interested in teaching dual credit?
Thank you for your interest in offering dual credit through Missouri State University.
Missouri State University currently has 92 distinct courses available for dual credit. Prospective instructors will start the application process by submitting your request to teach dual credit. Upon receiving your request, a review of the course(s) that you would like to make available at your school will be initiated.
Ideally, an approved dual credit instructor should have 18 graduate-level hours in the academic discipline in which they will be offering dual credit. However, instructors who lack the required hours may be provisionally approved by the MSU academic department under a plan of study to offer the course for dual credit. The MSU academic department will review the application and make a recommendation based upon the instructor’s credentials and experience. The applicant will be notified of the decision and advised of any action that would need to be completed.
