Request to teach dual credit

Interested in teaching dual credit?

Thank you for your interest in teaching Missouri State Dual Credit. 

The Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education requires dual credit teachers to meet the same qualifications as adjunct faculty teaching the same course on the Missouri State University campus. As a dual credit instructor, you must have a master’s degree, and have graduate-level hours in the academic discipline in which you will be teaching (18 is recommended). The appropriate MSU academic department will complete the approval for specific course(s) based upon the teachers’ credentials and experience. They will make any needed recommendations and the teacher will be notified of the decision and action to take.  

Next steps 

  1. You will receive an email from (our application system), inviting you to set up an account.  

  1. You will be required to upload a current resume/CV and your GRAD and Undergraduate transcripts separately in PDF format. Please label each accordingly. You will not be able to advance until you have uploaded each required credential.  

  1. Complete the Instructor Qualification Overview form attached and save in PDF format before uploading. (Ex. Smith, John Instructor Qualification Overview).
